School Readiness / 4+ Preparation
Our 4+ School Readiness sessions are designed for children aged 3–4 who are preparing for school entry assessments. These sessions are ideal for families considering selective independent schools, or for parents who want to ensure their child has the confidence and early skills needed to thrive in Reception.
We use play-based activities to gently introduce the skills schools look for at the 4+ stage. Sessions focus on:
– Early maths (counting, shapes, simple patterns)
– Early literacy (recognising sounds, storytelling, vocabulary)
– Listening and attention
– Fine motor skills (cutting, drawing, tracing)
– Social and communication skills
– Our approach makes learning fun and engaging while building confidence in young learners.
Children join small group sessions led by experienced teachers who specialise in early years education. Each session is playful and interactive, with opportunities to observe, guide, and support your child’s development.
At the end of each session, parents receive short feedback highlighting strengths and areas to nurture at home.
