Bespoke 1-1 Tutoring / 7+ Preparation
Our 7+ Exam Preparation programme is for children in Year 1–2 who are preparing for selective school entrance at age 7. It is particularly suited for families targeting highly competitive London schools where exam confidence, reasoning skills, and creativity are essential. Some schools our students apply to include: Westminster Under, St Paul’s, UCS, Haberdashers, Latymer, Highgate, South Hampstead High School, KCS.
Our tutoring approach develops both subject knowledge and exam strategies, with a focus on:
English: reading comprehension, grammar, creative writing, dictation
Maths: arithmetic, problem solving, reasoning
Verbal & Non-Verbal Reasoning: puzzle-solving, logic, and pattern recognition
Exam techniques: time management, confidence under pressure
We aim to make preparation structured yet enjoyable, so children feel confident and ready, not stressed or overwhelmed.
Preparation can be tailored 1-1 or taken as part of a group holiday course.
Timing: Most families begin in Year 1 after the Christmas break.
Format: Weekly sessions with practice papers, feedback, and progress tracking. We recommend a minimum of 2 sessions a week.
Support: Regular updates for parents to ensure preparation aligns with chosen schools.
